This testimony is given to help expose the subtle attacks of Satan and how he tries to open illegal doors into Christian’s lives. Satan is the accuser of the brethren according to scripture.

Revelation 12:10
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Satan will accuse us before God if he has right to do so! We saw a similar instance take place in history when Satan presented himself before the Lord concerning the life of Job. Satan had no accusation against Job’s life but was there to challenge the Lord concerning Job and Job’s integrity and character. The testimony I am about to share correlates to this on a similar level but on a much smaller scale. Nevertheless, it is still a demonstration God allowed to manifest to test my integrity and character and the enemy was the culprit behind the testing.

Testing of Character through finances
At this present time, the Lord moved me back from Kansas to work for a well known company located out of Nashville, TN named Charter Construction. I am a currently a Site Safety Coordinator for the company. I have been working with this company going on seven months. On Wednesday, November 19, 2021 I received my electronic check stub though email. I always check my pay stub to see the hours I worked and what I was paid. On this particular pay stub I noticed quickly that I was overpaid somewhere because I made more money than usual. I suddenly saw up in the top left hand corner where my regular hours worked and right below my overtime hours worked that I had 18.5 hours of overtime. I knew this wasn’t right and was overpaid for overtime hours. To the right out beside my overtime hours worked is the amount of money paid for these hours and it was exactly $666.00. I discerned this was an attack of the enemy! It was like he signed his signature right out beside it as if overplaying his hand.

Right after realizing all this I began to feel a battle within my mind and my belly. It was a war going on inside me! Although I knew what I should do the enemy was still at work in my mind to have me ignore the whole thing and just take the extra money. I had thoughts like “It’s alright! Nobody will ever know anyways! Its a blessing! Just take the extra money and go on!” My belly was shouting something very different though. My belly was telling me, “Don’t do that!” My conscience was also bearing witness to me that I should do the right thing and not sweep this under the rug. This went on the rest of the day, all in the night and into the next morning. It would not go away. The war continued on within me and I told nobody about it.

Early the next morning on November 20, 2021 I knew I would have to go to the shop and office for Charter to get some things to take back to the job site. I knew this was my chance to make things right and confess what happened but the enemy wasn’t letting up. I went to the office to get what I needed and talked with a woman there who works in HR and helps do the financing for the company. I waited and waited until I could not take it anymore and finally told her what had happened and that I was overpaid. She looked up my information and saw what had happened. I asked her how this would be made right and she told me they would probably just take the extra hours I was paid for out of my next check. She told me if something changed she would notify me on this. I suddenly felt peace flow through me and I knew I had done the right thing in bringing this to the light. She also told me the system they use electronically for their financing has been acting up recently, causing this issue to happen. I knew from past experiences that Satan and his cohorts can work through electronics, computers, etc. I knew the enemy had targeted me and had I taken the money and not said anything, a door would have been opened to a lying spirit to work in my life. The enemy would have also had a legal accusation to accuse and blaspheme me before God. But God knowing what happened and what is now legally written in Mt. Zion, God can tell Satan otherwise! The Lord will rebuke the devourer for our sakes when we do things the right way legally in the site of God.

King David’s Transgression
There is another example in scripture that gives us a picture of how Satan can and will accuse us before God if he has legal right to do so. This happened in King David’s life in his transgression with Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite. Most of us know and have read the testimony of what King David did and how he had Uriah the Hittite killed by Israel’s own enemies to cover up his sin in sleeping with Uriah’s wife, Bathsheba because she had connived a child by King David. David hid this sin and did not make it known until it was revealed by Nathan the Prophet several months later. God gave judgment through the Prophet concerning what King David did but his life was spared. But look at what the Prophet also told King David because of what he had done. Remember, King David was the Lord’s anointed.

2 Samuel 12:14
Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

The Holy Spirit made it known to me years ago that this was not talking about the enemies of the Lord in flesh and blood, nor the enemies of flesh and blood against Israel at that time they were at war with, but was about Satan and his cohorts to accuse and blaspheme King David before God because of what he had done. He was the King of Israel! He was God’s anointed and the man whom it was prophesied that he was a man after God’s own heart! I’m sure Satan reminded the Lord of all these things when he brought these railing accusations and blasphemes before God about King David, therefore God had to judge righteously through His Prophet Nathan and expose what was hidden. But out of the judgment of God against David and his house, God did bring good. Though the sword did not depart from his house, we see the sword of God was raised up from it also, which never departed as was prophesied by Isaiah saying, “And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots.”

The Power of Witness
We must always remember that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. The enemy is very subtle and is always trying to create situations and circumstances for us to legally open doors by our own free will. The enemy tries to do this in many ways by even contorting the law of faith to present a situation to us that we fear through any sort of avenue, but we must stand upon the things the Lord has revealed to us through the things of the Spirit, through scripture, and testimony. This is a three-fold cord of witness that is not easily broken. The courts of heaven are based on the power of witness even as it is so among mankind. Satan knows this also and that no accusation can stand on the testimony of only one witness but must be on the testimony of two or three witnesses. This is a spiritual law that cannot be changed seeing it was founded before the foundations of the world. We know this simply from reading scripture in 1 John chapter 5.

John 5: 7-8
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

So we have spiritual witnesses and physical witnesses both in heaven and in earth. From my own personal testimony of what I experienced, the Holy Spirit was witness to what was going on but my conscience was also bearing witness though the enemy was planting thoughts in my mind to ignore them and make the wrong choice. The Lord told me in my Golden Meeting on November 21, 2021, “My word divides soul and spirit, joint and marrow. The enemy’s distractions only divide thoughts to keep the mind fogged as to not make the right choices.” I know now the enemy was trying to fog my mind through this distraction and temptation to keep me from making the right choice! But God was not silent in the matter either! Praise God for that! He strengthened me to do the right thing and not allow this open door to the enemy nor allow the enemy to bring accusation against me before God.
